This is one of those internet beauty ‘hacks’ I thought I would give a whirl. Beauty bloggers/vloggers are a clever bunch and they’re adept at finding cheaper solutions to everyday beauty problems.
I can’t remember the vblogger who first recommended this (I will hunt her down, she’s sitting in my bookmarks somewhere), but I can see where she’s coming from. If a cellulite serum can help smooth and tighten skin on thighs and bottoms, then surely it should work on a ‘turkey’ neck? If it does work that is.
Actually, that should be turkey chin, because the one place we don’t want to lose is fat from is our neck.
NIVEA Research has discovered a new concentrated formula which combines the powerful active ingredients Lotus Extract and L-Carnitine.
Natural Lotus Extract has been shown to reduce the formation of new fat cells and increases the breakdown of fat into smaller components.
I’m going to try it out after a patch test and see what happens. I would recommend a patch test even if you have normal skin; this product is not designed for the face and necks (as I know) can be ultra sensitive.
Tap a small dot of serum under your chin (or chins), morning and night.
Nivea Q10 Plus Firming Cellulite Serum 75ml Boots £5.89 from £11.79 (save £5.90) UNBELIEVABLE! OUT OF STOCK! *Bins post*
No fear, Boots should restock soon.
The vlogger is Anne Marie, what a lovely name! She uses the serum for her under eye bags, turkey neck AND jowls, JOWLS? Plus, she looks incredible and she’s over 50.
Her video has racked up over 330,000 views, so no wonder it’s out of stock!

UPDATE 21st JULY 2018
The serum soon came back into stock, for the same half price offer, I bought 3 of them for for £17.67.
It’s back on sale now (21/7/18) at the full price of £11.79, but if you see it on offer again, BUY IT!
Until last week I would’ve said, nah, it’s not worth it, there’s no change. But then suddenly, I saw a real difference, my jawline was finally showing the tiniest signs of firming up when I caught a sideways glance as I was doing my make up. Yes, it’s still jowly, (not Bloodhound dog jowly though it was never that bad), but it’s definitely doing something.
I’ve been using this serum for 3 months and I’ve only just opened my second bottle. To be honest, I was starting to slack off a bit because I wasn’t seeing any improvement, now though I’m going to keep going. I think it’s the combination of regular massage and the product (the Lotus Extract?) that’s working.
If Boots have another half price offer, I’ll pounce, otherwise I’ll happily pay full price when my second bottle runs out so I’ll always be stocked up.
