WEBSITE REVIEWS

Works really well on my sensitive psoriasis-prone scalp. Reduces dandruff and itchiness.

This shampoo is an absolute must if you suffer from a dry scalp. Within two uses, the flakiness was gone. I’m not a fan of ginger and find many products overpowering however, this smells mild and sweet, akin to a ginger cake rather than fresh ginger! I’ve got my partner using it too and he would recommend it.

So I would say it’s a great product but for me at least, too heavy to use very regularly and does build up until you refresh with something more clarifying. (Fair point, most treatment shampoos do this).

This product is fantastic for a dry scalp. I suffer from Psoriasis and ginger shampoo is a godsend thank you Body Shop!

Vitamin C Glow Cleansing Polish 100ml £12.00

Gently exfoliate your skin with our Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish to achieve the perfect base for a glowing skincare routine.

The lightweight gel texture is infused with Jojoba microbeads and perlite – made from volcanic glass – to gently buff away dead skin cells, revealing noticeably smoother and softer skin.

Vitamin C Glow Cleansing Polish

I genuinely love this product and have been using it for some months. I use it in combination with a number of the other vitamin C range as my skin has been dull and uneven for so long. I can honestly say my skin has never looked so fresh and glowy! One downside might be brand new packaging but still charging the same price for 25ml less of the actual lovely product. Otherwise would’ve been 5 stars!

This exfoliator is gentle enough to use every day. The gel has good slip so you can use it on your arms and legs.

Hemp Hand Protector 30ml £7.00, 100ml £13.00 best value

It hydrates for up to 24 hours, so it fits hard-working hands like a glove. It works on very dry and sensitive skin.

We use hemp seed oil in our Hemp Hand Protector. Our hemp crop helps regenerate land and provides a habitat for local wildlife in France. It’s one reason why they call it the ‘miracle crop’.

  • Our best hand cream for very dry hands
  • Restores moisture and protects ultra-dry skin
  • 24hr hydration
  • Not greasy or fussy. Just hydrating
  • Made with hemp seed oil from France

Hemp Hand Protector

I never did care for the distinctive earthy scent, but I absolutely can’t deny the results. Plus they didn’t mess around with the formula to try to ‘improve’ it.  What worked back then is still highly effective today.

The rich cream absorbs immediately, and parched hands are instantly softer and hydrated, but without any greasy residue.

Bonus? The 100ml tube will last forever.

If you’re looking to smooth and moisturise dry heels, then the two products I have used for years, are Hemp Hard Working Foot Protector £12.00 * out of stock but reading the reviews will tell you why (I use Hand Protector when the foot version is out of stock as it frequently is, it’s that good) and File A Foot foot file. £5.00 * also out of stock online but you can usually grab them in-store. It’s THE best foot file ever.

HOW TO USE

  1. Towel dry after exfoliating and cleansing.
  2. Scoop out a dollop of Body Butter.
  3. Slather over dry, sensitive skin sparingly or generously.
  4. Give dry-prone nooks and crannies like knees, elbows and feet some extra TLC.
  5. Give it a few minutes to sink into skin before getting dressed.

It’s mild and super sensitive which works well for skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis. Very soothing and moisturising – added bonus it’s vegan! Moisture, hydrating – perfectly mild for sensitive skin.

Almond Milk Body Butter

Who hasn’t used one of the famous Body Shop Body Butters?

Apply at night to parched skin – why do our shins get so dry as we age? Wake up to soft, moisturised skin with a subtle lingering fragrance. Use one of the other butters for a stronger scent punch. The coconut butter always reminds me of the summer holidays.

Almond and Mango are my favourites, though I do miss the brightly coloured tubs of old.

Made with bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, green tea leaves and a little Community Fair Trade tea tree oil, this charcoal clay mask is a powerful little pot of goodness to help unclog pores.

HOW TO USE

  1. Scoop an even layer of charcoal clay mask onto skin with your fingertips.
  2. Enjoy those tingles for 10-15 mins.
  3. Rinse off in circular motions to exfoliate.

Excellent product, leaves skin glowing and feeling extremely clean. Skin feels soft to the touch and pores appear minimised.

I have only used this product a few times and I can’t believe how my skin looks and feels. I use the drops of youth peel just before this and they are the perfect combo together.

This face mask is thoroughly purifying and skin feels refreshed afterwards. When putting it on the skin does tingle a bit because of the tea tree oil but it also feels satisfying like it’s drawing out impurities. The mask is a bit messy as it’s got clay etc in it so you will need to scrub the sink after and be mindful of the towel you use as it may stain. Very good for oily skin like my own.

The Body Shop has always produced good face masks.

Himalayan, Coffee (oh that scent), Rose and Japanese Matcha Tea are my favourites.

These are potent and pack a meaty punch. Just don’t apply the Nicaraguan Coffee or Himalayan ones in the bath (bit gritty!) or use your muslin cloth to rinse it off, it will stain. face masks
