I’ve just stocked up on these whitening strips from Spotlight.

Boots is selling them for £32.00 and Look Fantastic has a measly 5% off the full price, but the official Spotlight * website is offering them on promo for £23.97 plus another 5% on top of that which is £1.19 off with code EXTRA5.

These promotions come and go so it pays to shop around to see who is offering the best price.

A 2-week treatment programme won’t give you the dazzling white Instagram smile of your dreams, but the strips will lift your teeth a few shades, enough for you to see a difference. Plus the toothpaste that’s included is excellent.

There’s also a limited time sale with up to 50% off other Spotlight * products.

I paid £90.00 for mine and ordered another one – even though I still haven’t opened it.

I’ve been using the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Meso-Melt Infusion System (click on the image below for an introduction) which is similar but covers the whole face. I’m still regularly using it and I really can’t recommend it highly enough.

The ‘needles’ consist of solidified skincare which melts into skin and I stock up when the kits are on offer (the full price of £138.00 is insane) so I didn’t want to cross over the products.

Check out Sarah Chapman’s YouTube video for a demonstration before use.

It’s a surprise how robust and heavy-handed she is when using the roller, I was gingerly following her lead and I’m pleased to say it doesn’t hurt one bit.

However, to my horror – she ‘needled’ her upper eyelids, aren’t we all taught not to touch that area? Naturally, being the sheeple I am, I copied her but it hurt like hell as the skin is so very thin and sensitive there. I could only roll one eye (ultimate whimp) but what a difference the next day, there was the tiniest lift and less crepe.

I wish I could say I did it again but I didn’t, once was enough.
