Of course! It’s the Bank Holiday weekend, any excuse. Here are some of my top picks from online beauty sales.
MARKS AND SPENCER
PRAI – MenoGlow Hot Flush Cool Fix Serum 60ml £23.00 from £28.00
This is something I’ve not seen before. There’s one bad review, but the rest are really very positive. Why wasn’t this brought out a few years ago when I was melting from the inside out?
Limited selection of concealer and foundation shades, but they have the highly-rated Natasha Denona Transformatte foundation in darker shades.

ELEMIS, BOBBI BROWN, ESTEE LAUDER AND OTHERS
Bobbi Brown Exclusive Beauty Emergency Kit 3.0 (Worth £67.00)
Just bought this, a shame the mascara is always black.
- Pot Rouge in Fresh Melon (3.7g)
- Mini Vitamin Enriched Face Base (7ml)
- Mini Smokey Eye Mascara (3ml)
- Mini Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Pink (0.9g)
- Mini Soothing Cleansing Oil (15ml)
- Mini Extra Eye Repair Cream (2.5ml)
I’ve already bought all of these and I use them regularly.
NuFACE Mini Facial Toner £131.00 (from £167.00)
This is the same size as the full-sized Trinity, the difference is you can’t add attachments to it, hence the price.
CurrentBody Skin LED Precision £109.00 (from £139.00)
I bought this as an inexpensive, temporary measure to replace my lost Lightstim. Still using it!
NuFACE Trinity + Trinity ELE Attachment Set £310.00 (from £457.00)
If you want your eyebrows lifted then this is the attachment you need to get, it WILL lift them when used regularly, otherwise, stick with the cheaper mini for all-over facial toning.
Clarisonic Mia Smart Gift Set £115.00 from £280.00
I’m not sure where I read it but I think Mia Smart is going to be discontinued, which might explain the low price. If you’ve always wanted a Clarisonic (and I waited a long while) then this might be the chance to get it at this price. I don’t faff around the with app.
Clarisonic Firming Massage Head £16.00 from £27.00
I bought this when it was on sale, not sure if it would be too harsh for a face massage. In in spite of being very sturdy, it’s gentle and relaxing and is really convenient when you can’t be bothered to do a self-face massage.
LightStim for Wrinkles £180.00 from £249.00
My first LED device. It saved my neck, see here.
DERMALUX FLEX MD
This is not on sale, but if you believe in the power of red LED to help improve ageing skin and you have nearly £2000 (yes, I said it) to spare, have a look at the Dermalux Flex MD.
PROFESSIONAL LED THERAPY, AT HOME
Created by the multi-award winning and globally recognised Dermalux systems, Flex MD is the world’s most powerful at-home LED device for use on the face and full body.
Using the only clinically proven light therapy wavelengths, this go-to professional treatment is now available as a flexible, portable solution to use at home.
I WANT ONE!
The multi-purpose Dermalux Flex MD is an effective treatment for skin concerns like acne, redness, pigmentation, signs of ageing, scarring, large pores, and uneven tone.
It’s also certified to target wider concerns on the body like bone health, sports injuries and joint pain. This makes it a great device for the whole family to use.
I’m not sure about the whole family using it, if it does everything it promises then I’d want to use it all over, all of the time.
Here are some of the incredible before and after photos. The first one has blown me away. I wonder how many treatments it took to achieve that gorgeous smooth skin?
It’s an investment for sure. I’m trying to justify the cost, would this be my last ever device? Instead of messing around with serums and gadgets, could I get away with using only this one?
I need to do more research. If anyone has used one of these please let me know.
Dermalux Flex MD £1,895.00 CURRENTBODY * I’ve just received a £50 off code in an email CBFLEX for the first 20 customers (it should be £100 really, shouldn’t it?)
