HOW TO USE (my preferred method)
Take a tiny scoop and massage it onto a dry face, neck and eyes. It melts immediately upon contact.
Use warm water to emulsify then dissolve the makeup and rinse off – I use a muslin cloth.
I then rinse again with clean warm water and pat my face dry.
Skin feels clean and soft afterward with no irritation around the eyes.

Finally, another makeup remover I can work right into my eyelashes to remove all traces of waterproof mascara without any stinging or oily residue.
The only other one I rely on is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser but the price has been sneaking up lately, £32.50 for 200ml.

As far as I can tell, the difference between a balm and a butter is that butter is less oily. In fact, there was no greasy residue even around my eyes.
I took a huge risk and used this instead of Cleanse & Polish on my recent holiday. Just as effective, but it takes up a lot less room in my beauty bag and – is considerably cheaper.
There will always be a place in my heart for good old Liz Earle, but this best-seller from The Body Shop is just as effective at a great price.
