Goodbye old faithful Diorliner Precision Eyeliner, you had a tendency to wear off after 4 hours, but you made it easy for unsteady hands to draw a fine line and you didn’t smudge or splash onto my lids.
I fell out of love with you because your bristles would splay no matter how carefully I put your lid back on, and I was fed up of constantly snipping off the stray hairs.
My new love is STILA Stay All Day® Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner.
Finally, a waterproof liquid liner that glides on with ease, won’t smudge or run, and stays in place until you say when!
I couldn’t agree more! The liner comes in 6 shades: black, brown, two blues, green and grey.
I chose the Dark Brown shade, which is VERY dark and intense.
Everything about this liner impresses me and the positive reviews are spot on.
The brush tip is long and thinly tapered, but it’s robust. Drawing a thick, or in my case, fine thin line, is effortless. No smudging or transferring to lids.
The cap seems to be spring-loaded, so I’m particularly careful when I’m putting the top back on.
The best part is that it lasts all day, no retouching required.
Actually, that’s the second best part, it’s £10.00 cheaper (for a smidge more product) than Diorliner.
There’s also a similar, waterproof felt tip pen for brows in 3 shades of brown. This could be particularly useful for those with thinning brows.
Here’s a helpful review with a great tip, from the M&S website:
I have very sparse eyebrows, and could not afford to keep up the semi-permanent treatments; with this product you do not need to. It is fine enough to draw individual hairs, glides on very easily, and does not smudge or fade all day.
If you want the 3D effect, buy two colours and build up your perfect brow. The tube lasts for a couple of months so it’s fantastic value for money.
I have tried others (Wunderbrow) and they do not compare. If it goes out of production I will cry.
