REVIEW RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner

RevitaLash RevitaBrow AdvancedAbout six weeks ago, I went to buy another bottle of The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density for use on my eyebrows, but it was sold out everywhere.

From bitter experience, I know that if you suddenly stop using these products the hair cycle will revert back to its normal growth phase so, in a bit of a panic (unfounded because the serum was back in stock the next day), I bought RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner from AllBeauty for £77.30 for 3ml.

I’m not skilled enough to paint on eyebrows from scratch, though I’ve watched some impressive YouTube videos from very talented people (of all ages) who can create natural-looking eyebrows with pencil, wax and pomade. So I take the lazy easy way out.

It was painful to pay that much (which is still at least £15-20 cheaper than elsewhere online) but my eyebrows are pale and I’ve noticed how sparse they’ve become over the past year, The Ordinary product was really working and I didn’t want to lose all that progress.

REVTABROW ADVANCED EYEBROW CONDITIONER

A scientifically-advanced eyebrow conditioner which encourages strength and fullness in fragile, weak or ageing eyebrows.

Combining peptides, vitamins and botanical extracts in a potent blend of nutrients, RevitaBrow Advanced adds strength, body and definition to eyebrows, leaving them looking thick, defined and bold.

For eyebrows suffering from prolonged and repeated over-plucking and waxing, RevitaBrow encourages the natural renewal process.

Paraben-free, cruelty-free & vegan-friendly.

At first, I was slightly disappointed that it was a doe foot applicator, I always think a sponge sucks up the product and wastes it but this has lasted nearly 6 weeks and there’s still loads left in the tube as far as I can tell because the applicator is very wet.

As the middle part of my brows have filled in nicely I’m going to only apply the serum at the top and tail of my eyebrows. The 3ml tube is supposed to last eight weeks.

I will admit that the eyebrow on the side I sleep on, my left, is ever so slightly less full than the right.

Part of me wishes I hadn’t bought it because the results far outweigh not only The Ordinary’s Hair Serum but also my beloved RapidBrow.

It took about 3 and a half weeks for me to see new growth and five weeks to see that my brows have properly filled in. I’m not talking about long eyebrow hair, but thicker, dense hair.

However, I won’t be having my eyebrows tinted because they’ve grown in darker, a sort of medium brown/dark taupe shade.

AllBeauty is no longer selling RevitaBrow on its own but for 30p more than I paid (that’s not annoying is it?) they are now selling the RevitaLash Gift Set (with the brow conditioner) for £77.30.

LESS EXPENSIVE EYEBROW GROWTH ALTERNATIVES

L’Oreal Paris Clinically Proven Lash Serum £13.49 Boots * I know it’s a lash serum but it worked great on my eyebrows.

Review below and a lot of long-winded chat about my eyebrows.

Where have my eyebrows gone?

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density £15.80 Boots * Again, it’s for hair, but again great for brow growth.

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density

When my second RevitaBrow tube runs out, I will decant The Ordinary serum into the tube using the dropper. The doe foot applicator will make it easier to apply to my eyebrows.

TIP

I picked up this tip recently for fuller brows and it works! Brush – with colour, ie Charlotte Tilbury’s Legendary Brows, or pencil, pomade etc just the top part of your eyebrows. I did this on my ‘new’ eyebrows and looked terrifying because they were already so dense. I’ll remember to try it again when my brows inevitably thin out when I stop buying the good stuff.
