When I first read about Feelunique’s Beauty Kit sampler service I thought they had ended their long-running Pick ‘n’ Mix promotion (reviewed here) and renamed it to hike up the price. But, I’m happy to say they didn’t and Pick ‘n’ Mix is alive and well and still tremendous value.
Pick ‘n’ Mix lets you choose 5 beauty samples for £3.95 which is redeemable against future purchases in the form of a voucher code.
Some of the samples are what you’d expect to get free from a beauty counter if you asked nicely, ie. 1, 2 & 3ml sachets, just enough for one application.
However, they frequently offer a few gems and hair products are always generously sized.
My Pick ‘n’ Mix selection
THE BEAUTY KIT
Beauty Kit works in a similar way, but you wouldn’t get most of these products free as samples.
On offer is a selection of 5 deluxe / travel-sized size products for £10.95 along with a cute mini pouch, plus a £3.95 shipping and handling fee. Again, the £3.95 is ‘refunded’ as a gift voucher to redeem within 60 days, though not on Pick ‘n’ Mix or the Beauty Kit. I recommend you screenshot your order in case there’s any hassle with your voucher code which will be emailed to you.
This service is not a subscription, so you’re not committed to buying products every month, but you can only place one order a month.
There’s a lot of skincare this month. I’m wondering how many items in the Estée Lauder 5 Step Advanced Night Repair sample ie if it’s 5 one-use products, it would still be of interest to me. I’ve sent an email asking Feelunique.
Once again, hair products are heavily featured and offer the best value. The three Kerastase products featured below are a no-brainer, I just can’t narrow down the other two selections.
The SkinCeuticals Vitamin C Serum sample is just 4ml, but you only need a few drops. I’m on my second bottle of Pure Obagi Vitamin C (review here) I had to buy it myself this time! The difference it’s made to my skin has been phenomenal, dermatologists recommend a good vitamin C serum for ageing skin and SkinCeuticals is right up there with Obagi.
Once again, choose wisely to get the most from £10.95.
Just found this included in the offer – Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion 50ml, now that’s a handy little amount. I see now why they’ve capped it to one order a month, there are at least 14 products I’d like to buy.
The samples change regularly. There’s no Charlotte Tilbury this month, but they had a mini powder compact last year which I would have loved.
