Eye Inspire Catwalk Quad Collection Goddess Eyes

MeMeMe Cosmetics

I bought this baked eyeshadow palette a couple of weeks ago. For a budget range, MeMeMe Cosmetics are gaining a good reputation for producing strong pigments at a reasonable price.

The rough, baked formulation means the colour will be of the highest payoff and have a slight sheen for added depth to your look.

These pigment shades can be applied wet or dry to create bold and beautiful eyes.

Each palette features four complimenting shades designed to build and transform looks from day to night.

Apply wet or dry for high impact colour. Start with the lightest shade as your base colour (too light and shimmery for me) and build up the colour with the two medium shades.

Lastly, add the darkest shade onto the crease of the eyelid and across the lower lash line to add depth and intensity.

The key to a successful eye makeup is blending –make sure that you are not left with any hard lines and that you have applied colour evenly to both eyes.

Eye Inspire Masterclass - Goddess Eyes

The Goddess colour is my go to eye colour for night and day. I wet my brush for the night look which makes it much stronger and its a colour that is dramatic and sophisticated.

I have very oily eyelids so find that powder products crease really easily on me. The Goddess eyes has the right amount of shimmer and didn’t crease.

Loved the drama eyes product – it stayed on for ages and still had really strong colour – worth the money.

For the most perfect and accurate swatches, I need to direct you to a blog by Cynthia, called Miss Lipgloss. The text is Dutch, but the photos speak for themselves.

I could probably have done with a smaller ‘quarter’ of the shimmery highlighter, which is always my least used shade, but that’s the luck of the draw. The other metallic shades, the deep bronze, medium gold and copper, have the perfect balance of depth and shimmer.

Applied dry, the pigments are strong, but blendable. The depth of colour stops the shades ‘bleeding’ into each other, you can blend out the lines, but can still see the different colours.

Applied wet and eyes pop with a strong definition of colour.

You need to use fairly slim brush to pick up the individual colour, you don’t want to run the brush over the whole pan, because the result would be murky.

The shades compliment each other beautifully, but I can see me using darkest bronze shade (wet) the most.

Flattering shades, easy to blend and a good price – a nice little buy.
