ESPA Beauty Explorer Collection – Plus sale news!

ESPA Beauty Explorer CollectionUpdated, see end of post.

I bought this set to take away on a weekend break, because I had to ‘pack light’ oh, those cruel words, you might as well ask me to fold fire. The older I get, the more products I need just to maintain the status quo.

If you’ve ever been lucky enough to experience an ESPA facial, then you will know how indulgent and pampering they are.

In particular, I recommend Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire. They often have great value spa packages around Christmas, last year they had one called Festive Fingers and Twinkle Toes using Opi products.

These products are part of the ‘engergising’ range. They’re all new to me, so I’m looking forward to giving them a road test.

The bag is really nice, and actually well made and robust. There’s a removable foam base with cut outs for all the products, but you don’t really need it, and without it there’s loads of room for other bits and pieces.

Hair, cleansing, showering and moisturising needs are all taken care of, so I’m going to see how much make-up I can cram in (and I need to cram in a lot).

UPDATE 16/1/19

The ESPA Beauty Explorer Collection is now £55.00 ESPA *

However, the last of their Christmas stock is on final sale and even though the Signature Spa Collection which is now half price, at £90.00, and includes full size products, including the gorgeous smelling Restorative candle and a body brush is very tempting.

Signature Spa Collection

I would suggest you dip your toes in the water and buy the travel-sized Restorative candle (70g) for £10.50, or, for the same price, the 15ml jar of ‘Beauty Sleep’ Overnight Hydration Therapy

The ESPA candles are probably the best on the market in terms of scent and longevity, and Beauty Sleep is a new discovery for me.

With my last order, Bergamot and Jasmine Body Wash and matching Body Lotion, I chose Optimal  Skin Pro-Serum (4ml) and Overnight Therapy (7ml) as my two free samples.

  • Apply the oil after cleansing and follow with the cream, gently rubbed in until it turns white.

What a game changer! I’ve been using them for just over 2 weeks (the serum/cream has run out – I was using mere dots at the end, but there’s plenty of oil left) the result is that there’s a noticeable softness to my skin.

I also went to vouchercloud (one of the more reliable discount codes sites) and typed FREE in the voucher box for next day delivery.

Other companies have ESPA products on offer, but none have these added extras.

Off to get my candle and cream – separate orders of course!
