EF MEDISPA The FemiLift

Campaigners calling for a ban on vaginal mesh implants were victorious earlier this month when the Government agreed to suspend implant surgery in NHS hospitals in England. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are expected to follow suit

The government has accepted the use of vaginal mesh implants to treat complications after childbirth should be stopped immediately to prevent further risk of “life-changing and life-threatening injuries” to women.

Women relied on these implants to help ease the symptoms of stress urinary incontinence and vaginal discomfort. They were badly let down, with reports of the plastic mesh disintegrating, stiffening, or cutting into organs. You can’t imagine the suffering these women continue to endure and I hope they are rightly compensated.

EF MEDISPA offer a pioneering laser treatment called FemiLift. A new, non-surgical, quick and safe solution for various common feminine issues.

FemiLift is a minimally invasive laser treatment addressing a wide range of feminine health concerns such as stress urinary incontinence (bladder weakness) and vaginal dryness, caused by child-birth, menopause and hormonal changes.

Offering long-lasting results that constantly improve over a full course of treatments, FemiLift is a state-of-the-art, safe and FDA approved treatment. One of the most significant advantages of this treatment is that it is quick and painless. It takes less than 30 minutes and doesn’t involve surgery or extensive downtime.

The Femilift is a safe and quick procedure. We’ve had great feedback from patients who claim how effective it is in comparison to the other alternatives out there. – Dr. Asel.

FEMILIFT

Like skin, vaginal tissue is made up of collagen fibres which give it strength and flexibility. FemiLift uses breakthrough CO2 laser technology to gently heat vaginal tissue, contracting existing fibres and stimulating the formation of new collagen. This improves the functionality of the entire vaginal area, normalising blood flow, increasing lubrication, boosting immune resistance and restoring the strength and elasticity of the vaginal walls.

Performed by a trained female gynaecologist, FemiLift, involves using a uniquely designed laser probe enclosed within a single-use tube to protect both the probe and the skin. The pixel laser then emits light energy to the surrounding vaginal tissue triggering collagen production that leads to the tightening of the vaginal cavity.

FemiLift is a breakthrough laser treatment for those who suffer from stress urinary incontinence and want to avoid surgery.

This treatment is already huge in the States and we are proud to be one of the first medispas to offer this to our UK clients.
