Clarins Special Offer – 8 Samples with ALL orders

Clarins Special Offer 8 Samples with all orders

I’ve been keeping a beady eye on Clarins special offers, I’ve not been too bothered with any of them to date, but today’s one, ‘Lucky 13th’ looks the business.

The offer is a huge choice of 8 free samples with ANY order and is running for the next 3 days. Clarins samples (along with Clinique) are particularly generous, no measly sachets – hurrah! The catch? A hefty £3.95 for shipping, unless your order is over £50.00.

The cheapest item I can find (where have the nail polishes disappeared to?) is Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel 75ml £12.00

Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel
Lots of rave reviews from all over the net, although it seems to work particularly well on spot prone, ie younger, skin. Most reviewers seem to agree that only a little amount is needed to work up a good lather.

Smells good, lasts a really long time. Cleans skin and makes it feel fresh and smooth. Great for dry skin or teenagers.

I’m 20 with fair skin slightly oily T zone at times, I’ve never had severe problems with spots, but lately I’ve had more than usual, I used this every morning for one week and it cleared my spots up near enough completely!!! Also made a fab improvement with my oily T zone.

I use this daily, I had rather spot prone skin across my forehead and it did make me conscious. It is not harsh or abrasive in any way, which is perfect for younger skin. A pea-sized amount can be used and this cleanses quite sufficiently.

I have combination skin with some blemishes and uneven skin one and I find that this cleanser effectively cleanses without irritating my skin. It has a very pleasant, light fragrance and only a small pea size amount is required as it lathers up well.

This gel based foaming cleanser was great for my acne prone skin, and was a welcome relief after the hot mess that is Clinique. It was great in the fact that you needed the tiniest amount of product to work into a lather, and afterwards, my skin felt incredibly clean.

This is a good cleanser for my combination but sensitive skin. I can’t really notice a glow to my skin, but it does calm the redness. After washing my face with this, it doesn’t feel dry or tight.

I’m awash (sorry!) with cleansers at the moment, so I’m going to stock up on another bottle of my product of the century, Clarins Radiance Plus Golden-Glow Booster £18.00 Read my rave review here.

Clarins Self Tanning Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster

This is a great offer if you’re thinking of stocking up on a Clarins product anyway, and you feel you can absorb the delivery charge.

The samples are perfect for travelling and very useful if you want a decent sized sample of product to try before you buy. Brands should really take note of this. I’ve bought a lot of products after using a generous sample first. A mean 0.5ml of product is not enough for me to judge how well it could work on my skin.

As I’m in rant mode, I think beauty brands should keep a closer eye on how they control samples supplied to stores. We all know at least one amazing and helpful, sales assistant who will give us a heads up when samples arrive. But it seems to be more common to hear that a newly launched sample of a skin care product has ‘just this second run out’.  Although a quick trawl on eBay will show you exactly where they’ve run out to…
