REVIEW: Vanga Lama Green Tea Oil + £3.00 Discount Code
Everyone knows the benefits of drinking antioxidant rich green tea, but we also know that it plays a valuable part in beauty products, even better if it’s the sole ingredient and that is what’s in Vanga Lama Green Tea Oil, just Camellia Sinensis (Matcha Green Tea) Leaf Extract.
Matcha green tea products contains many anti-inflammatory compounds that protect the skin against free radicals that cause sun damage, age spots, dry skin, and wrinkles.
Matcha green tea oil readily penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate elastin production to add volume to the skin. The tannins in Matcha help reduce the production of oil associated with acne.
Our 100% natural Matcha Green Tea Hydrating Oil Serum is obtained from Matcha green tea leaf without the use of chemical or heat to preserve its wonderful properties.
HOW TO USE
- Apply a few drops on a clean face at night and massage in.
- Recommended also after an exfoliating or detox mask.
Vanga Lama Green Tea Oil is green in colour of course, and has a pleasant citrus scent. It has good slip, and my reviewer applies a couple of drops each night to her face before her usual night serum and cream.
The oil takes a little while to absorb fully, so she spends this time massaging it in, sweeping upwards and outwards. I think this should be an essential part of everyone’s night time ritual. It’s great if you can massage your skin with an oil cleanser, but this is even better because it’s such a pure product.
My reviewer used to be a heavy smoker – she ‘vapes’ now, great for her health of course, but not for those vertical lines around her mouth (drinking from straws does exactly the same thing and I stopped doing that a long time ago). She’s been massaging just one drop around her mouth each night and feels that the lines have softened ever so slightly – that’s not a bad start.
Because she’s used so little, I was able to decant some into a brown aromatherapy bottle and trial some for myself.
The way I apply it is slightly different. A while back, I bought Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster (£45 for 30ml), to ‘supercharge’ my moisturisers, but I was never really sure if it worked – because, how do you really know if your product’s being boosted?
What I do instead, is mix a couple of drops of the green tea oil into my night moisturiser. At least now I know I’m adding something with proven benefits. This is something I’ll continue to do.
This is a natural product – in the true sense of the word, so the shelf life is 6 months from opening the bottle.
