This was a nice surprise on a Monday morning. I put a few items into my Marks & Spencer online ‘shopping bag’ last night and, after being distracted by the very fine Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the Good Wife (I think this is the last series!) I forgot all about them until I went to checkout just now and found a generous 20% slashed off the total.
This ‘Flash’ sale ends at midnight tonight, so I’m working quickly because I know that all the ‘good stuff’ goes fast.
I also think that 20% is a clear
excuse sign to try products I might have previously thought were just a tad overpriced.
My shopping journey begins with Pixi and the ‘sainted’ Glow Tonic (£18.00, now £14.40) which is a gentle, exfoliating toner.
Exfoliating facial glow tonic. It helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. For all skin types. Alcohol free.
I’m also buying Sheer Cheek Gel (£14.00 to £11.20). A gel blusher is much kinder and more flattering on mature skin. My beloved Becca Beach Tint (twice the price, but it’s worth it) has almost run out, so I thought I’d give this one a try.
My last Pixi product is Shea Butter Lip Balm, (£8.00, which is a good price anyway
buys 2 because it lasts forever, and is now down to £6.40). I’ve raved about this balm-but-really-a-lipstick here before for being the most deliciously perfect nude shade.
My basket now stands at £170.40, so I’m going to have to trim that down a LOT before final checkout!
