REVIEW Lee Stafford ARGANOIL ® from Morocco Night Repair Serum
I love a beauty product that does all the hard work at night. But I do find that overnight hair treatments generally have two strikes against them.
One, they don’t always smell that nice. There was one I really liked, but myself (and Mark), couldn’t get over the ‘wet dog’ scent that clung to me all night. *aherm*
Two, and perhaps this is only my experience, I always have to wash the serum out in the morning. I’ve no choice because the texture of my hair changes overnight and it sorts clumps together and feels quite matt before shampooing.
This one from Lee Stafford, ARGANOIL® from Morocco Night Repair Serum is very different.
Argan oil is a rich, nourishing ingredient native to Morocco. The Berber women have used this moisture-infusing wonder oil as part of their daily beauty regime for hundreds of years. These ancient beauty secrets, proven for centuries, are now spreading worldwide.
WHAT IS IT?
A serum treatment to be used overnight when hair is free from environmental stressors and distractions – so the moisture infused lotion can get to work as you sleep.
Easy to use and quickly absorbed without leaving any residue on your pillow, this overnight miracle just leaves hair feeling regenerated, nourished and protected.
Packed with Vitamins E and B5 this quickly absorbed serum will allow you to wake up to regenerated, nourished and protected hair, without leaving any residue on your pillow.
HOW TO USE
Apply and olive sized amount to mid lengths and ends of dry hair before going to bed. Adjust the amount according to the length, thickness and texture of hair. Comb through for even distribution. In the morning wash hair or simply style as usual.
It has that familiar signature scent that all Lee Stafford products have, and the light, gel/cream consistency doesn’t leave any residue on my hair. I can apply it at night without needing to wash it out in the morning.
What I tend to do with this serum is wash my hair at night, change the pillow (top tip – always use a clean pillowcase if you’re not going to wash your hair in the morning) and comb through the serum from about a third of the way down to the ends.
In the morning, my hair is so much softer and I’m able to style it – although I don’t use any other hair products and it doesn’t hold a strong curl. But for very soft hair, this is a great way to use it. Plus of course, I’m still reaping the nourishing and moisturising effects of argan oil.
