Elemis Advanced Brightening Even Tone Serum UPDATE 3
Advanced Brightening Even Tone Serum by Elemis, is a newly launched product that boasts some huge claims.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
This intensive brightening serum is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation in just 28 days. The unique complex of daisy and pea extracts with encapsulated vitamin C helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots, age spots and existing imperfections, whilst simultaneously helping to minimise future formation.
Skin is left bright, clear and visibly more even
Existing pigmentation is lightened and the formulation of future uneven pigmentation is minimised
Past imperfections, such as acne scarring, are visibly reduced
Skin Type: Mature, Normal/Dry, Normal/Combination
I’m going to do something a little different here and I’m only going to use this serum on the back of my hands. I have a sprinkling of freckles, OK age spots that I’d love to see fade. It’s quite annoying, because I’m not a sun worshipper at all. They’re really small, but it will be obvious if they fade within the 28 day time frame.
If this works, then I can see this Advanced Brightening Even Tone Serum becoming a massive best seller, even at this price.

UPDATE: 17th February 2015
I ceased trialling this serum on the back of my hands because I hadn’t realised just how many times I wash them – I’m not OCD or anything, I just like clean, non greasy feeling, hands! I was washing the serum away before giving it a fair chance to work.
So I’ve switched to a smallish sunspot on the bridge of my nose, it’s always been there (and it’s been checked out, it is just a harmless blemish).
UPDATE: 18th April 2015
This soon became part of my morning routine, just a tiny dab patted in. The blemish did indeed start to fade from about 6 weeks on. So much so, that I actually forgot all about it and gradually stopped using the serum – and to update this post!
UPDATE :13th August 2015
Doing my make up this morning, I noticed the blemish is back! I will start to use the serum again (and report back), but I think it’s typical of a lot of products – they only seem to work when you use them consistently!
