REVIEW: VitaBella Anti Ageing Face Mask
Italian skin care company VitaBella, source ingredients for their luxurious range of natural, skin care beauty treatments from the olive groves and aloe vera fields found growing in abundance in Puglia, southern Italy.
The aloe vera leaves are individually picked and within an hour the gel is hand extracted in a specially converted “masseria” (a traditional farmhouse found in the countryside of Puglia).
The olives for the olive oil used in our products are picked in the traditional way by hand from the groves surrounding the masseria and infused with herb extracts.
Two of my reviewers tested VitaBella’s Anti Ageing Mask Treatment.
As our skin ages, it starts to dry out and lose its elasticity. It’s this loss of hydration that causes wrinkles to appear and the skin to start to sag. Our unique anti-ageing complex uses all of nature’s best ingredients to help rehydrate the skin and reduce these signs of ageing:
NATURAL ALOE VERA GEL
Contains over 200 natural compounds including 20 minerals, 18 amino acids and 12 vitamins, and has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.
Rich in vitamin E, which is a natural antioxidant, and essential fatty acids to help repair and protect skin.
Naturally found in the skin and is exceptionally good at helping to keep skin hydrated and can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water.
HIBISCUS SEED PROTEINS
A natural exfoliant and help to soften the outer layer of the skin.
WHEAT GERM OIL
Rich in vitamins A, D and E to reduce skin drying.
Beautifully simple to use, pop a sheet mask ‘tablet’ into the pot provided, crack open a bottle of the treatment complex, pour it over and watch the mask expand as it sucks up the liquid magic.
Carefully unfold the mask and place over the face, patting and smoothing it down. Relax for 10 minutes.
We were surprised the mask wasn’t wet and dripping after absorbing the 13ml bottle of treatment oil (although it didn’t feel particularly oily to any of us). Both reviewers said the mask felt wonderfully cooling on the skin – the aloe vera effect. The mask started to dry out slightly as skin drank in the treatment.
After removal, I could see her skin was definitely looking brighter and felt smoother to the touch – that’s the olive oil.
This is the treatment you want before a night out, quick and easy with instant results.
Both my reviewers loved the mask and the results. However, I was sent a sample jar of VitaBella Anti Ageing Face Cream and Karen tried this as well.
AND FLIPPED OUT!
Smoothing, softening and instantly hydrating, she absolutely loved this cream and wanted my little pot! So…I bought one for her as an early birthday present – and it arrived the next day, that’s customer service for you.
The VitaBella Anti Ageing Face Cream is a light, non-greasy, daily cream, rich in essential oils, which is absorbed quickly to give intense hydration.
If I wasn’t trialing other skin care products for the site, then I would definitely buy a jar for myself. Lightly scented, it’s cooling and surprisingly non greasy.
The blend of aloe vera, with its well documented anti-inflammatory effects, combined with skin softening argan and wheat germ oils, make this an ideal moisturiser for sensitive skin. It says something when you go on to buy a product you were sent to review!
