REVIEW – LightStim for Wrinkles

LightStim For Wrinkles - LED Light Therapy

REVIEW UPDATE: LightStim for Wrinkles

This is an important review update that I’ve put off for weeks. I’ve even included before and after shots (not for the fainthearted, look away now if you’re that way inclined). I think a photographic record is needed to illustrate how far I’ve come with LightStim LED Light Therapy.

I look back on the photos and they upset me a lot, but I’ve bitten the bullet and published them and I hope they’re helpful.

 BACKGROUND

I was invited to trial LightStim for Wrinkles in June this year. This is the original pre-review post. I also did a post back in March about my allergic reaction to a mandarin essential oil, called Help for Hives. I hadn’t realised then how devastating it would prove to be and how long it would last.

Holy sh*t! How did I leave the house looking like this?

I had to wait three long months for the rash and swelling to disappear completely – Newsflash, it gets much much worse before it gets better, but I was left with deep grooves and an extremely crepey and ‘puckered’ neck. Unfortunately, because I couldn’t (wouldn’t) use ANY skin care products on my neck, it became very dehydrated and lined. Once you’ve been scarred (literally!) by a rash, you will do anything not to aggravate it further.

I’m diligent when it comes to testing products for this website. I’m given a job to do and I will do it to the best of my ability. Is using LightStim 4 times a week a bit of a chore sometimes? Eh, yes! But when I see the results, I know it’s been worth it and I’m so grateful to have been given this opportunity.

LEDs are Therapeutic. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, which is a tiny computer chip encased in glass. Each LED wavelength (colour) of light provides unique therapeutic benefits. LED is non-invasive, painless and requires no recovery time. This Light is good for all skin types and is engineered to emit a soothing gentle warmth. LightStim for Acne Mini has 36 Blue LEDs.

I have to credit the LightStim product because it was the only thing I used (and continue to) on my neck. LightStim is no overnight sensation, you HAVE to use it regularly and for a prolonged period. I have seen a tangible improvement to my face in texture and a fair fine line decrease, but that is nothing in comparison to what it’s done for my neck.

LightStim’s proprietary Multi-Wave technology takes skincare beyond where it has ever gone before, combining 4 therapeutic wavelengths (colours) of light that penetrate the top layer of your skin to help stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin.

LightStim for Wrinkles

I’m the first to criticise before and after photos (I’m so picky!) but hopefully, you can see clearly exactly what LightStim LED Light Therapy has achieved and the way it’s plumped up the skin on my neck. I’ve tried my best to match new photos (taken this morning), to the original poses.
