What’s in My Handbag is a members only, – join via Facebook or email, high end beauty website with exclusive offers and samples of luxury beauty products.
But, as the name implies, it also features the handbag contents of fashion and beauty industry types, with a few celebrities and lifestyle gurus thrown in for good measure.
The concept is that not only are you able to have a nose into these bags, but you can also buy the contents from the site.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that some brands are pushing products that, by sheer coincidence, appear in every second handbag. I see Tom Ford lippies are prominently featured this month – just saying. But anyway, we’re smart women, we know it’s a business, just sit back and enjoy browsing through the handbags. By the way, the handbag at the top here, is my own, substandard homage to the site.
The offers and giveaways are definitely worthwhile. I recently received the tiny 5ml pot of Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm just by submitting my email address and I’m usually really unlucky or too late for giveaways.
I was so disappointed to have missed this recent special offer:
The Pretty From Within Supplement Kit for £14.95 (worth £63.50)
- Faust’s Awake and Asleep Potions (2x25ml)
- Dove Spa Strength Within Anti-Wrinkle Supplements (84 tablets)
- Oskia Pure MSM Beauty Supplement (45 Tablets)
However, a couple of the current offers sound quite promising:
Other fun things to do on What’s in My Handbag: Create your own beauty cabinet, compile want lists, read make up tips and member reviews of products. There are also photographs of interesting make up looks found on the street.
It’s yet another time stealing website to add to your internet fixes.
Oh dear, just spotted this cute hair grip tin from Emily Bromfield’s bag. Although not mentioned on the site *tsk* it’s by Hersheson – £6.00 for 75 grips, sold at ASOS and other places on the net (can’t find it cheaper than £6.00 though).
I don’t need it, but I want it. You see how bad and evil this site is?
What’s in My Handbag <One hit and you’re hooked.
