UNDER REVIEW: Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm

I’m going to test a little 15ml pot from the Omorovicza 4 Piece Discovery Collection set – look out for an interesting update to that post tomorrow AND a tiny 5ml sample pot from a limited giveaway by What’s in my Handbag There will be a post on Sunday about this addictive beauty and ‘nosing into handbags’ website.

Here’s what the official Omorovicza site says:

This uniquely natural black balm glides on clear to remove all make-up and impurities without stripping the skin, to leave it radiant, soft and silky-smooth.

Amazingly gentle, this balm removes even the most resilient make-up without irritating the delicate eye area.

Cleansing Balms come from some of the oldest traditions in beauty and one advocated over anything else in Asia for luminous skin.

This black, oily balm is made with Thermal Mud and Waters – rich in clays that draw out impurities, clearing congested pores, while introducing key minerals calcium, zinc, copper & magnesium, which boosts the synthesis of collagen, strengthens the skin barrier and antioxidant defense against free radicals.

REVIEWS

Fab product. It removes all traces of makeup (incl waterproof) and leaves my skin soft, supple and reduced my redness. I love it!!!

I have found that this one jar of product has lasted me about three months, as you only need a small amount. It has a lovely silky balm texture, which makes it great for massaging into the skin, and it is very gentle for around the eyes, and it removes quite heavy eye makeup.

Simply incredible! I was a little weary due to the muddy texture and the smell, but know this: almost immediately upon impact with the skin, the black paste turns into exactly what the product is called, a BALM. It leaves my face INCREDIBLY soft!

Simply phenomenal. The rich balm works beautifully to lift makeup and impurities from the skin’s surface.

This is a very thick balm that melts into an oil when rubbed. It applies like a very thick oil which dissolves the makeup. If you try to wash it with water, nothing will come off because the cleanser and the makeup, need to be removed with a damp towel.

I still remove my eye makeup with an eye makeup remover first because it does get kind of messy with all those eye liner and mascara all over my face. I do understand why some people would not like this cleanser. It is not your typical foaming, squeaky clean cleanser.

Looking forward to trying this, it’s a bit different to the usual cream cleansers. I’m  slightly apprehensive that the ‘black mud’ might settle into the pores on my nose  – although I can’t see any reviewers saying that it does.  I used a clay mask once that sunk into my pores and I had to scrub and scrub to remove the clay build up.  I’ll let you know how I get on.
