Full Size Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment Serum
This sumptuous but light hair treatment is instantly absorbed by the hair and results in a silky smooth finish with brilliant shine. Formulated with a blend of naturally derived ingredients Organic Moroccan Argan Oil is an incredibly rich source of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.
I’ve only used it twice so far, the smell of the clove oil is overwhelming at first, though the scent dissipates upon application. If you can manage it, try to dispense only half a pump’s worth, a little goes a very long way and yes, it did indeed make my hair soft and shiny, very happy so far. I love hair oils anyway, they’re much kinder to ‘older’ hair and surprisingly, none of them make hair greasy the way some serums and creams can.
10ml Intensive Repair Cream
We blended neroli, magnolia and benzoin with spilanthes acmelia flower extract to firm and smooth; the purest grade of hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate. Apply an even layer of cream onto face, neck and décolletage at night, repeating in the morning for those with a more dry, sensitive or mature skin after cleansing with our cleanse and smooth face balm.
Can’t wait to try this, especially as it lists our old friend hyaluronic acid, as one of the ingredients.
15ml Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
I’ve wanted to try this for a while, even more after reading this:
This revolutionary Anti-Ageing cream uses the Marine extract Padina Pavonica to transform the complexion in just over 2 weeks. Trials proved that the appearance in wrinkle depth was reduced by up to 78% and that hydration was increased by up to 45%. Skin firmness and elasticity are dramatically increased.
Two weeks? I think I can just about stretch this 15ml tube to 2 weeks. I won’t be testing it until I’ve finished the jar of Liz Earle Superskin, (otherwise how will I know what works?) but this is definitely next on my list.
1ml (booo!) Perfume sample – I don’t count perfume (or aftershave) samples as ‘real’ products, it’s one of the reasons I became disillusioned with Glossybox. There should be a blog competition to see who can collect the most perfume samples from department stores in one day. This is too flowery and ‘soapy’ scented for me.
1.2ml Sample Men’s Aftershave – See above.
Full Size Eye Pencil – Pleasantly surprised that: 1. It wasn’t the ubiquitous black mascara I always seem to be lumbered with and 2. It was a brown pencil. Hard for me to part with my beloved MAC Eye Pencil in Stubborn Brown, but I will give this one a try.
28ml Rose Nectar Range – I love natural rose scents. I have (nearly) every product from the Jo Malone ‘Home Range’ but all in the one scent, Red Roses. I can’t stand the artificial rose smell from some products so I’m happy to say this Rose Floral Water is the real thing.
Melvita Rose Floral Water is naturally astringent to help regulate sebum production as well as preventing the appearance of wrinkles and lines and is particularly suited for delicate and sensitive skins.
A decent amount and in a handy easy to take on holiday, plastic bottle, means this will be used straight from the fridge in the mornings to jolt me awake.
2ml Nail Varnish in ‘Portabello’ – Not the bright shocking pink one I’d have preferred, but this orange will still set off a tan nicely.
20ml Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion – Again, not the ‘Wild Rose’ Pampering one I really wanted, but a zingy citrus scented one, which lingers on the skin and is actually rather pleasant. A little goes a long way and I can see I’ll be using this all up quickly. It’s not that it makes your skin smoother, but it feels ‘covered’ maybe the word I’m looking for IS replenished?
A good quality box, no duds.
I’ll update this post in future months when I’ve had a chance to test everything fully.
