Under Review: ‘Latest in Beauty’ Samples

alllilb-1
All these goodies arrived yesterday from Latest in Beauty in a silver, bubble wrap lined pouch. They’ve updated the packaging to make it more secure, that’s a good sign.
It’s a website offering ‘Luxury Sized Samples’ for you to ‘buy before you try’. I wrote about them last week here.

I’ll report back next week after I’ve used them all.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant + (2.5ml) – £1.50
I thought the Perricone product was tiny, but get a load of this one! A week’s worth (oh really?) They say:

Massage 2 – 3 drops into cleansed skin on face, neck and décolletage, morning and night.

I’ve not opened it yet, but those 2 or 3 drops need to go an awfully long way –  we’ll see. This is the product I’m most excited to trial. I find older skin tolerates oils and serums better than creams.

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation (7.5ml) – £4.00
Oooh, it’s tiny! Bit of a wobbly lip moment when I saw just how little 7.5ml actually is. £4.00 now seems a bit too much, but whether or not it’s good value will depend on the coverage and if it does indeed:

…corrects skin undertones, instantly smoothes fine lines.

St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion (50ml) – £2.00
AMAZING VALUE! I love this product anyway but unless you’re creosoting up for a guest spot on The Only Way Is Essex, this is easily going to last more than a week. Bargain!

Japonesque Beauty Fixation Makeup Remover 24 pre-filled swabs – £1.00
Looking forward to these, though I think I’ll probably get more use out of them in the summer when my eye liner tends to smudge loads.

These products cost me:

£ 8.50 +
£ 2.95 P&P
£ 11.45
